With Survivor Series in the rear-view mirror, all eyes are now on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event coming up on December 14.
The show isn’t a PLE, but rather a two-hour special on NBC, of which there’ll be a few per year.
WWE seems keen on making sure these shows are a big deal, so here are seven returns that could take place this time around.
7. Goldberg
At October’s WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta, Goldberg showed up and got into a heated exchange with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.
Since then, Goldberg has confirmed he’s planning to have his retirement match some time in 2025, and heavily teased that it’ll be GUNTHER he faces.
GUNTHER is set to defend his World Title against Finn Balor at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, so perhaps Goldberg could show up after that to remind everyone about his intentions and set the stage for the GUNTHER match.
We don’t know exactly when it’ll be next year, but perhaps it could even be as soon as the Netflix Raw premiere on January 6.
