With WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event set to air live on NBC and Peacock on May 24, there have been some matches fans have been anticipating that aren’t on the card.
From some that seemed likely to be happening but are now in limbo, to others set to take place later down the line – here are some big WWE matches that aren’t taking place this Saturday in Tampa.
Here are eight WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event matches that ended up not happening.
8. GUNTHER Vs. Jey Uso
After Jey Uso captured the WWE World Championship from GUNTHER at WrestleMania 41, the former champ made it clear that he wasn’t giving up – but he was willing to wait for his rematch.
Instead, GUNTHER has noted that he will face whoever is champion on the June 9 episode of Raw – but that doesn’t mean that Jey Uso is without a match on the network special.
Instead, Jey Uso will be taking on Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event in what will be Jey’s second World Title defense.
Paul has popped up and ambushed Uso with his signature punch on multiple occasions – so fans have to tune in this Saturday to find out if the social media star will become the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
