WWE and TNA Wrestling are currently in the middle of a fruitful partnership, with stars from both companies crossing over between both of their programming.
The TNA stars have received far more shine on WWE programming than WWE’s have on TNA TV, and with that comes the likelihood that WWE will eventually swoop in and attempt to secure some of these stars on a long-term basis.
But that’s not exclusive to those that have made it to WWE TV thus far, as there are also plenty of others under TNA contract who could be on WWE’s radar.
So with that said, let’s take a look at six TNA stars who could sign with WWE.
6. Joe Hendry To Sign With WWE?
The most obvious name by far for a list such as this has to be the viral sensation known as Joe Hendry.
If you had no prior knowledge of Hendry’s contract situation you could easily mistake him for a hot new WWE signing, and one that the company had some serious investment in.
I mean seriously, this man is getting video packages, live concerts, his own section on WWE’s streaming home of Peacock – it’s frankly ridiculous how featured Hendry is on WWE NXT, all the while not being signed to any kind of WWE contract.
It truly is a different era in WWE, that’s for sure. Despite Hendry reportedly still having well over a year left on his TNA deal, one would imagine WWE will look to acquire his services full time when that time comes.
If they do in fact manage that, then all of this investment in him will be paid off in spades when he does put pen to paper as an established name in the minds of WWE’s audience.
