WWE WrestleMania 41 has come and gone with the landscape changing across the board coming out of the biggest show of the year.

Heading into the post-Mania edition of Friday Night SmackDown, things have shifted on the brand with new champions being crowned and several other changes set to take place.

From NXT call-ups to returning talent making their way back, the blue brand should have some last-minute twists and turns that take place before our eyes on the April 25 episode.

Here are eight potential last-minute changes to WWE SmackDown.

8. Trick Williams Crashes Carmelo Hayes’ Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal Win Celebration

On the April 18 WrestleMania SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes won the 2025 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal by last eliminating Andrade.

This should kickstart a newfound push for Hayes that should see him get some new opportunities in the brand new season for WWE.

With The Miz by his side, Melo should have an Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal win celebration on the April 25 episode that could set up a big arrival on the brand.

Trick Williams has seen himself going through an attitude change on the NXT brand that may lead to a heel turn, but WWE could maintain his babyface popularity by giving him a new scenery to explore by calling him up to SmackDown where he could crash this celebration for his former friend.
