Throughout the course of 2025, WWE SmackDown has added various stars to its roster that have helped to round out almost every division.
From Rey Fenix and Fraxiom to Giulia and JC Mateo, these pickups have been getting a lot of attention and refreshed the talent on the blue brand.
When looking at the current state of the free agency market and WWE NXT, there could be even more stars about to make their arrival on SmackDown in the weeks and months to come.
Here are eight potential new WWE signings on SmackDown.
8. Mariah May
On the June 3 edition of WWE NXT, former AEW star Mariah May made her shocking debut in the company.
After a stellar two year run with All Elite Wrestling, this big arrival will set May up to be one of the major stars of the NXT brand.
However, Mariah may not be on NXT for too long considering the last few top notch free agents that were signed to WWE who had fairly short stints on the brand.
Looking at her experience and the exposure she gained from her time in AEW, it would make a great deal of sense if Mariah is only on NXT briefly before making her way to SmackDown where they need high end talent to add depth to the women’s division.
