WWE SmackDown Live Preview – Super ShowDown go home show

According to WWE.com, Becky Lynch has an extra special surprise for Super ShowDown that she will be revealing on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live.

Now, I’m sure everyone has their own ideas about what they want that surprise to be, but I’m sure it’ll simply be some kind of dig at Charlotte Flair.

I’m definitely not biased in any way, but Becky Lynch is the single greatest thing on SmackDown Live at the moment without exception. Her ring presence and the reaction she gets from the crowd makes her segments the best part of every show.

If you forget she’s been thrown into this heel persona for a second, you can start appreciating just how organically over she is, which is something incredibly rare for a female superstar in WWE.

Although I fully expect her to drop the belt by the end of the year, probably to Charlotte Flair, the longer that belt is around Becky’s waist the better.

Paige to address Samoa Joe’s home invasion

Presumably, Samoa Joe is currently out on bail after invading AJ Styles’ home last week. It’s not like there’s a lack of video evidence to support it.

It’s difficult to see what Paige is going to say about the matter, other than “well that was illegal, here are some police officers”.

I imagine she’ll ‘ban’ Joe from the arena, which will definitely work. Then, later in the evening AJ will have a match and Joe will interfere anyway.

I really hope their match on Saturday is worth the build it’s had, and actually has a clear winner. AJ’s title reign has been littered with screwy finishes and it’s becoming a bit tiresome.

Shelton gets his wish

Twitter is powerful these days, particularly if you’re Shelton Benjamin.

All you have to do is moan that you’re not on TV and then you get a match against Daniel Bryan. Easy.

Granted, it’s not the easiest match he could have been given, but he’ll almost certainly win thanks to Miz interference.
