5. Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio Storyline Twist?

Fans have noticed some new clues regarding the Liv Morgan/Dominik Mysterio story that would see things go in a somewhat unexpected direction.

Until last week, the prevailing theory was that Mysterio and Morgan had been working together to help Morgan win the Women’s World Championship – with the idea that Morgan had essentially seduced Mysterio into doing so.

However, there’s a different route the story could go that is actually looking more likely right now. With Mysterio still acting like he’s not in on helping Liv Morgan, it’s possible that… he actually isn’t.

A theory that went around this past week is that Morgan is actually working with Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of Judgment Day, but not Mysterio.

This would explain why Mysterio seemed confused by Morgan’s actions when she kissed him, and thus far, has seemed genuinely apologetic and mistken on the occasions that he’s inadvertently helped Morgan beat Becky Lynch.

Initially the theory was that he was just doing that to trick everyone, but it’s looking more and more likely that he’s not helping Morgan intentionally – Morgan has been spotted talking to Balor and McDonagh in recent weeks, and the belief now is that the balaclava that was spotted in her pocket a few weeks ago belonged to McDonagh, not Mysterio.

Morgan is set to appear on tonight’s WWE Raw, so perhaps things will start to become clearer then.
