With AEW Double or Nothing 2025 set for Sunday, there is the potential to see some WWE related surprises at the annual event.
From former WWE stars who were recently released to others who departed in the past, there are a host of talented wrestlers that Tony Khan may elect to snap up from free agency.
Here are six former WWE stars that could make an appearance at AEW Double or Nothing 2025.
6. Cedric Alexander
Last appearing in NXT back in January 2025, Cedric Alexander would go on to be released after nearly 9 years with WWE.
While he was appearing as a singles star before his departure, Alexander was a member of the fan favorite stable the Hurt Business in WWE during their run.
With rest of the now Hurt Syndicate already having signed with AEW and together as a group in the company, it seems like Cedric Alexander joining is a natural next storyline step.
Potentially arriving to foil MJF’s place within the group, it could be a big summer for the Hurt Syndicate in AEW.
