7) Cedric Alexander & Ashante Adonis

I know this is technically two wrestlers in one entry, but Ashante Adonis and Cedric Alexander had formed a tag team the last time we saw them, so they count.

Cedric has been someone who has struggled to find his feet on the main roster since the Hurt Business went their separate ways three years ago, and it’s amazing that he’s not yet had a run back in NXT.

When Grace appeared in NXT, Cedric immediately took aim at former opponent and current X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali, with the two willing a rematch into existence.

As for Ashante, the obvious story would be for he and Cedric to team up against Rich Swann and AJ Francis, Ashante’s former Hit Row tag team partner, or perhaps reunite with Francis in a cross promotional faction.

Even as a tag team, TNA has some great teams that Ashante and Cedric could face off with to prove their value to the company.
