Over the past few years, there have been several WWE stars who have made a successful transition over to the commentary team after their days in the ring came to end.
Whether it be Corey Graves or Wade Barrett, these former in-ring competitors add a different perspective that helps balance the call of the action in the ring and the moments around it.
Looking at the current WWE roster, there are several other stars who could follow in the footsteps of legends like Booker T and JBL who have also made a successful transition in the past.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially become commentators.
7. Big E
In 2022, Big E suffered a serious neck injury that has put his in-ring career in jeopardy – he has yet to return and it’s still unclear if he ever will.
While the former WWE Champion has been busy outside of the wrestling world with movies and other ventures, E has also contributed to the company’s on-screen product.
Big E has become a valuable piece on the WWE Kickoff Show panel before every premium live event over the course of the past year.
The former New Day member could make another transition and become a commentator for weekly television if given the opportunity to do so.
