WWE
At the December 13 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, GUNTHER defeated John Cena in the final match of his career.
This completed Cena’s year-long farewell tour to close out his career and could open the door for other legends to follow in his footsteps.
With several different stars already making it clear that they could be winding down their in-ring runs, WWE could have their fair share of retirement tours in the new year.
Here are six WWE stars to potentially have a farewell tour in 2026.
6. AJ Styles

Ahead of WWE Crown Jewel 2025, AJ Styles revealed that he intends to retire from in-ring competition in 2026.
After a 27-year career that has spanned multiple promotions, Styles looks to bring his time in the squared circle with one more year under his belt.
“The Phenomenal One” is still one of the best in-ring competitors in WWE today and should be given a proper farewell tour to close out his career the right way.
Styles clashing with some career rivals or getting a crack at the Undisputed WWE Championship again could be the best way to give him one last ride in the sunset in 2026.
