WWE Stars To Join New Drew McIntyre Faction

After capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown, perhaps Drew McIntyre could look for some outside help in his bid to retain the gold until WrestleMania 42 and beyond.

From former allies outside of WWE, to more unexpected choices, there are some intriguing options for which WWE stars could become minions of McIntyre.

Here are six WWE stars that could join a new Drew McIntyre faction.

6. LA Knight

A potential new ally for Drew McIntyre could also be a return to a former alliance.

While their shared history in TNA Wrestling hasn’t taken center stage in a storyline just yet in WWE, there is a foundation for LA Knight and Drew McIntyre to join forces.

Having featured in the short-lived 2015 stable The Rising in TNA Wrestling together already, there was a third member of the group who also finds himself on the SmackDown roster today.

The Rising was Drew Galloway (McIntyre), Eli Drake (LA Knight) and Micah (Tonga Loa), and they were only together from April to July in 2015. While their history probably isn’t something to be tapped into, at least two of the three members could reunite in WWE to make a dynamic duo.
