WWE
The first premium live event of the year for WWE will be Royal Rumble 2026 on January 31 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
While there will be a full slate of talent appearing on the show in the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches, there could be some stars who will be missing this event.
Whether it be due to injury or personal reasons, fans might not be seeing these particular names at the signature PLE that kicks off the year.
Here are six WWE stars to potentially miss the Royal Rumble 2026 event.
6. Michin

On the January 2 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Jade Cargill was scheduled to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Michin.
However, this bout was pulled from the card just before the show went on the air after Michin suffered a reported shoulder injury during a match on a live event.
With Michin now sidelined for an undisclosed amount of time, it just might mean that fans will have to wait to see her back in the squared circle for the foreseeable future.
Considering the recency of this injury, it would make sense if fans do not see Michin compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match on January 31.
