At WrestleMania 41, John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event.
Since then, Rhodes has been away from WWE television and may look to regroup soon enough following Cena’s record-breaking 17th world title victory.
In one way to do just that, “The American Nightmare” may look to create his own faction considering his history in groups like Legacy, Bullet Club and The Elite.
Here are eight WWE stars to potentially join a new Cody Rhodes faction.
8. Ricky Saints
One of Cody Rhodes’ closest friends currently signed to WWE is current NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints.
Forming their bond during their time in All Elite Wrestling, Saints has been by Cody’s side backstage before many of his biggest matches since returning WWE despite previously being signed to their competition.
Now that the two men are signed by WWE, bringing their real life friendship to the company’s programming might be a good way to introduce Ricky to the main roster.
Ricky could fit like a glove standing side-by-side with the former Undisputed WWE Champion as his protege who could eventually rise up the ladder following in Cody’s footsteps.
