With no official WWE Draft in 2025, there may be some increased movement between Raw, SmackDown and NXT coming in early 2026.

From big names that could pop by for a targeted feud, to another that could serve as an interim GM – there are some interesting options for WWE stars that might return to NXT in the coming year.

Here are seven WWE stars that could return to NXT in 2026.

7. Damian Priest

One star that fans have noticed has been taking a bit of time off as of late is Damian Priest.

With Damian Priest recently noting that he has been kept on a lighter schedule by intention by WWE, it could be that NXT is a solid place to land.

Potentially able to serve even as an interim GM, Damian Priest is very entertaining even when not engaged in heavy handed in-ring combat.

Leading to an eventual return to in-ring action on the brand, Priest could certainly build rivals for the future while taking it a little bit easier on his body today.
