Since AEW’s inception, the company has seen its fair share of WWE stars who have made the move over and found success.
Whether it be Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho in the first year of the promotion, or more recent WWE additions like Ricochet and The Hurt Syndicate, WWE stars have often found a fresh start in AEW.
With a litany of former WWE talent on the free agent market or with contracts expiring, fans could see even more stars make their way over to AEW and reach greater heights in their career.
Here are six WWE stars to potentially sign with AEW.
6. Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal)
Released from WWE back in April 2024, Jinder Mahal ended his second stint with the company and made a return to the independent scene.
Mahal, real name Raj Dhesi, had the credentials that could have easily made him a no-brainer signing for another major promotion, but no big company has bitten yet.
However, Dhesi has been working across several different independent promotions, such as Black Label Pro, Maple Leaf Pro and more so perhaps another big move is in his future.
With his experience, accomplishments and impressive look, Dhesi could bring something new to the table that could be useful on AEW TV if Tony Khan decided to sign him.
