On the June 9 edition of WWE Raw, GUNTHER defeated Jey Uso to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Starting his second reign as the champion, “The Ring General” may need some backup to assist him against all the threats to his run with the title, starting with the returning Goldberg and their World Title match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Once the leader of Imperium, the group has become non existent as of late, but it could make a return during this reign with the World Heavyweight Title.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially join a new GUNTHER Imperium faction.
7. Ludwig Kaiser
The only remaining member of the original Imperium faction that is still with WWE right now is Ludwig Kaiser.
Throughout 2025, Kaiser has not been featured very prominently and has been lacking some opportunities as of late.
With the likes of Goldberg and the King of the Ring winner coming after the gold, GUNTHER may need to call upon his long time ally to join him against the competitors wanting his title.
Kaiser reuniting with GUNTHER in Imperium could be a great way to position the German star in a more consistent role on WWE TV moving forward.
