While not as frequent as they once were during Vince McMahon’s time in charge, WWE has been known to make name changes to certain talents, something that can help facilitate a fresh start for them or rebrand them for a push.
When looking at the current roster there are a variety of stars that could benefit from a switch in presentation, with a change in moniker being among the most impactful ways to do so.
Whether it be a tenured member of the WWE roster or a rising star in the company, there could be a number of name changes coming very soon.
Here are seven WWE stars to potentially undergo name changes.
7. Karrion Kross – Killer Kross
No one has been gaining the momentum or popularity on the WWE main roster quite like Karrion Kross.
Only being featured in backstage segments primarily, Kross’ popularity has gradually risen, with now consistently positive crowd reactions from the fans and strong merchandise sales as well in the process.
During his now infamous worked shoot promo following WrestleMania 41, Kross teased going back to his “Killer” persona in WWE.
Becoming Killer Kross once again could be the key adjustment that launches him to the next level and helps him get into a consistent role on WWE programming moving forward.
