WWE SummerSlam 2024 will take place from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio and will present a lineup filled with notable matches.
A recent report has indicated that WWE has been discussing potential changes for the show that will include a three-hour pre-show.
Despite the lineup for the main card seemingly set, there is plenty of room for changes for the card and matches already announced.
Here are six changes that could be made to the WWE SummerSlam 2024 event.
6. WWE Tag Team Title Rematch Added To SummerSlam Pre-Show
On the August 2 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga defeated DIY for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Despite that match already taking place in Cleveland, there could always be a rematch the following night so Johnny Gargano gets to perform in front of his hometown fans in Cleveland Browns Stadium.
WWE may also want to have more of a Bloodline presence on the SummerSlam event that will see Solo Sikoa challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event.
If the company opens the show with Fatu and Tonga retaining their gold, it will leave even more unpredictability to what will happen in the show-closing title bout.
