WWE
Whether it be due to wanting to get into championship contention or seeking solo glory, there are some WWE tag team members who could be looking to go on their own.
With the road to WrestleMania 42 underway, there could be any number of singles stars emerging in the weeks to come from various tag teams on the roster.
Here are eight WWE tag team members to potentially become singles stars.
8. Asuka

After making her return to WWE in 2025, Asuka reunited with Kairi Sane to reform The Kabuki Warriors.
With Asuka domineering over Sane in recent months, tensions between the two reached their apex at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, when Sane accidentally eliminated Asuka from the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
On the February 16 edition of WWE Raw, Asuka defeated Bayley and Nattie to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match.
With “The Empress of Tomorrow” now set to compete in the Chamber and potentially challenging for one of the women’s world titles at WrestleMania 42, Asuka could be on the verge of leaving Sane behind.
