WWE UK Championship Tournament Night 2: Review

WWE UK Championship Tournament Night 2: Review

We’ve got a lot of talent for a small island. Enough talent in fact that WWE has taken the decision to devote an entire tournament and show to us. I don’t want to take too much credit but I do feel somewhat responsible.

And what a show we can put on. Although the match of the weekend remains, as many thought it would, the six-man tag between British Strong Style and The Undisputed Era, we still had another night of very entertaining matches.

So, we’ll be running through the card match by match and giving our thoughts on each. Enjoy!

Moustache Mountain bt. The Undisputed Era to win the NXT Tag Team Championships

And we’re starting off strong…style.

This was fantastic. For a match that only went just over ten minutes, all four men proved what you can do if you can tell a story.

Near falls, close calls and teammates accidentally kneeing each other in the face was the order of the day, and no-one will have left this restaurant disappointed.

I’ve been lucky enough to see MM live, and Tyler Bate is easily the most talented 21-year-old I’ve seen. Seriously that’s so depressing. I’m 22 and there’s this guy going standing shooting star presses like there’s no tomorrow.

Anyway, enough fan-girling. The match ended in a bit of a blur, with Bate attacking Roderick Strong outside of the ring to allow Trent Seven to set up their finisher. 1. 2. 3. We have new NXT Tag Champions. Wonderful start.
