With new stars commonly undergoing a WWE name change upon debut, there are some current stars who may be set for a change as well.
From stars that have been long absent due to injury to others who could use a refresh of their character by way of returning to a former ring name, there are a good number of WWE stars who could find themselves undergoing a name change.
Here are eight WWE stars that could undergo name changes in the near future.
8. Finn Balor
With the Judgment Day continually on the brink of collapse, the group’s demise would actually be a great catalyst to a brand new iteration of Finn Balor.
While he has been through a few variations of his character in WWE, it would be intriguing to see him return to a vintage iteration.
If he were to resurrect his previous NJPW persona Prince Devitt, even in name only, it could be a chance for a fun throwback as well as an intriguing partnership possibility.
Alluding to the Bullet Club Days, Devitt could certainly find himself joining forces with the wrestler who took over his role in the NJPW faction back in the day – AJ Styles.
