WWE Worlds Collide 2020 Preview: Start Time, How To Watch, Match Card, Predictions

Kay Lee Ray vs. Mia Yim (Pre-Show)

The lone match on the pre-show sees NXT’s Mia Yim take on NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray.

Prediction: Kay Lee Ray

With no real backstory behind the match, it would make sense for Ray, who is the champion on her brand, to pick up the win, or else what chance has NXT UK got of being seen as credible throughout the night?

On a card of relatively hard-to-predict matches, I’d probably say this is the most confident prediction I’m gonna put forward.

#DIY vs. Moustache Mountain

It’s worth noting here that these matches aren’t necessarily in order, excluding the pre-show and the main event.

Anyway, this one sees the one-night reformation of one of NXT’s most legendary tag teams, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa of #DIY, take on one of the most recognisable tandems in British wrestling, Trent Seven and Tyler Bate of Moustache Mountain.

Prediction: Moustache Mountain

Now you might look at that prediction and think I’m a huge moron, but hear me out.

This was one of the toughest ones to predict, so I actually left it for last, and the main reason I went with Moustache Mountain was to balance things out so it wasn’t too NXT heavy.

And it seems at least fairly feasible too. Think about it, does a #DIY win all happy rainbows and unicorns really seem likely, after everything they’ve been through? I have a feeling not.

Angel Garza (c) vs. Isaiah Scott vs. Jordan Devlin vs. Travis Banks – NXT Cruiserweight Championship

One of two championship matches on the card sees Angel Garza defend the NXT Cruiserweight Title against Isaiah Scott, Jordan Devlin and Travis Banks.

Prediction: Angel Garza

Garza has only held the title for about a month, and I don’t see that changing in a four-way like this.

The only guy I could potentially see nabbing it is Scott, because he has had previous with Garza, but even that is unlikely compared to the idea of a title retention here.
