On the April 6 episode of WWE Raw, Stephanie Vaquer attacked both Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez of The Judgment Day backstage.

This attack saw Vaquer slam Morgan’s head into Perez’s, which has led to both stars being put on concussion protocol according to reports.

If Liv has suffered a concussion, it could lead to WWE needing to find a replacement for Morgan in her scheduled title bout for the WrestleMania 42 premium live event next weekend.

Here are six potential WWE WrestleMania 42 replacements for Liv Morgan.

6. Raquel Rodriguez

At WWE Survivor Series 2025, Liv Morgan made her return to the company following a shoulder injury and immediately reunited with The Judgment Day.

Despite having her sights on the WWE Women’s World Championship, Morgan did not challenge for the gold because her best friend and stablemate Raquel Rodriguez had found her in position to go after the top prize for the women’s division.

In the months that followed, Morgan eliminated Rodriguez from the Women’s Royal Rumble Match and could even been seen as the reason why Raquel was unable to defeat Vaquer in a Philadelphia Street Fight for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Now that Morgan might be out of action with a concussion, Rodriguez could step up to the plate to take her place against Vaquer at WrestleMania 42.

5. Sol Ruca

Over the past few months, Sol Ruca has made her presence known on the WWE main roster despite being one of the most popular female stars on the NXT brand.

Back at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Sol lasted over 50 minutes and made it to the final three in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

The former NXT Women’s North American Champion has showcased herself as someone who can be called upon to some big spots and deliver.

If Liv Morgan is out for WrestleMania 42, WWE might not have to look any further than Sol Ruca to come up from NXT to the main roster and challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship.

4. Asuka

Someone who has been looking for a huge singles opportunity over the past year is Asuka.

“The Empress of Tomorrow” is one of the most decorated champions in the entire WWE women’s division today.

While she has been able to recapture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Kairi Sane, Asuka has not been given a chance to become a singles champion once again.

With Liv Morgan’s status in question, it would make sense if this opens the door for Asuka to finally get her opportunity at the WWE Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42.

3. Giulia

WWE Women's United States Champion Giulia

Since signing with WWE in 2024, Stephanie Vaquer has been consistently compared to another woman who joined the company at this same time, Giulia.

The two women have teamed in the past and even battled on several occasions, including Vaquer defeating Giulia to become the NXT Women’s Champion in 2025.

While Vaquer won the WWE Women’s World Championship on Monday Night Raw, Giulia is the current and two-time WWE Women’s United States Champion on Friday Night SmackDown.

Considering she is not currently scheduled for a bout on the card, it would make a ton of sense for Giulia to be the replacement for Liv Morgan against Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 on April 18.

2. Tiffany Stratton

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Liv Morgan won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match and punched her ticket for WrestleMania 42.

To get the win in the Rumble, Morgan did so by eliminating Tiffany Stratton last. Since she was the runner-up, it would be logical if Stratton took Morgan’s place.

While Stratton was in the WWE Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania 41, she is not currently involved in any match on the Mania 42 card.

Stratton replacing Liv Morgan could see her try to get some revenge for her loss at WWE Crown Jewel 2025 by taking the top prize for the Raw women’s division at WrestleMania 42.

1. IYO SKY

Stephanie Vaquer’s reign as the WWE Women’s World Champion started with a win over IYO SKY at Wrestepalooza 2025.

Since then, SKY has found herself on the outside looking in on the singles title picture and has been focused on tag team competition alongside Rhea Ripley.

However, this has led to IYO not having a solid direction to go in time for the WrestleMania 42 two-night event.

With a little over a week away from “The Show of Shows,” IYO should be on the card and could find herself as the most sensible replacement for Liv Morgan as a former champion who has some history with Vaquer at WrestleMania 42.
