Tickets for possibly the most controversial WWE show in history (and that’s saying something), WWE Crown Jewel, have sold out, according to the chairman of the Saudi sports authority.
Turki bin Abdel Muhsin Al-Asheikh, yes that’s his full name, tweeted yesterday to say the tickets had sold out in less than three hours.
في أقل من ٣ ساعات تم بيع تذاكر wwe بالكامل ??????♥️

Roughly translated, the tweet says: “In less than three hours, WWE tickets were sold in full. Yeet.”
Okay I may have added something to that, but you get the idea.
WWE made the decision to go ahead with Crown Jewel on Thursday (October 25), a decision that has been heavily criticised across the world.
The company has been accused of taking “blood money” from Saudi Arabia, and both John Cena and Daniel Bryan are reportedly refusing to attend following the murder of New York Times journalist Jamal Kashoggi at the beginning of this month.
Although a sell out in itself may be seen as impressive, you have to remember that earlier this month, WWE had to downgrade the stadium the show was in from a 67,000 seater to a 25,000 seater.
Crown Jewel takes place on Friday, November 2, and we’ll have to wait and see what kind of reception it gets.
