Get your tissues out, this is a tough watch. 23-year-old Tegan Nox suffered a devastating knee injury during the Mae Young Classic in a quarter final match with Rhea Ripley.
Despite several attempts to keep the match going, the referee was forced to stop the match, due to the severity of Nox’s injury.
Nox was obviously in considerable pain and distress, something anyone can understand, particularly as it was later revealed she was being booked to win the entire tournament.
WWE posted the below video on their website and YouTube channel, showing a tearful Nox being comforted by Triple H.
Absolutely heartbreaking. Nox is set to be out for several months, but has promised to come back better than ever.
Well…that happened ? I may be out for a while but I cannot thank my friends and family for everything they’ve done the past few weeks and for all the kind words I’ve received, it genuinely warms my heart and gives me that extra ? to come back even better ????????? pic.twitter.com/1CzYBOGGrq
