10. UNDERTAKER VS. EDGE (SummerSlam 2008)

Edge and Undertaker’s fifteen-month feud produced several choice match-ups (their clash at WrestleMania XXIV in particular), culminating in this, their final pay-per-view singles encounter and their first and only clash inside of the ‘demonic structure’. As this was the first Cell match of the squeaky clean PG Era, ’Taker and Edge had to work within hitherto unseen constrictions, a challenge they lived up to admirably. They replaced the blood and guts with big bumps through the cage wall, then put an exclamation point on the finish when Undertaker chokeslammed Edge through the ring, which burst into flames to signify ‘Taker vanquishing his long-time foe for good by sending him “to Hell”.
