During a special Making A Finisher episode uploaded to Fightful’s YouTube channel, former WWE star Victoria spoke about how a member of the NXT roster, who was only 16-years-old at the time, came up with her finishing move.
Speaking about the ‘Widow’s Peak’, Victoria (real name Lisa Marie Veron) claimed about that Molly Holly suggested she try out the move after seeing the move done on the indies:
“Molly Holly saw an independent wrestler, I’m not going to say his name yet, do a move. And she came back and said Victoria, we don’t call eachother by our real names in wrestling by the way, “Victoria there’s a move a move I think you should use for your finisher, because I was a big girl and I was one of the girls that could pick up everybody.”
After telling the story about how Vince McMahon liked the move after seeing it, Victoria revealed that the move originally came from current NXT roster member Roderick Strong, who would only have been 16-years-old at the time.
Victoria then opened up about how she met Roderick Strong in a hotel lobby and thanked him for putting her on the map by coming up with the finishing move for her.
