More details have emerged on the viewership figures, including the 18-49 demo numbers, of the October 15 episodes of WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage.
As per the fast national ratings, SmackDown drew an average of 793,000 viewers, and Rampage earned an average of 549,000 viewers.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics took to Twitter to note that the last four episodes of SmackDown have seen 34% of the total viewership come from the key 18-49 demographic.
It was additionally pointed out that this percentage has been within a range of 37-40% for the last three FS1 editions of SmackDown.
Thurston also stated that this percentage was 46% for the October 8 episode of Rampage, which was actually down from previous weeks.
Using these percentages, Thurston estimated that the 18-49 demo number for SmackDown would be around 0.22 (as 37% of 793,000 is 293,000), and that Rampage’s number would be roughly 0.19 (as 46% of 549,000 is 253,000).
The fast national numbers are not final, and these demographic percentages are only estimates, but these ball-park figures show just how close the key demographic numbers could be this week.
