During tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, two championship matches were announced for next week’s episode of the show.
Firstly, Johnny Gargano will defend the North American Championship against a mystery opponent.
It’ll be his first of his current reign having won the title from Damian Priest at Halloween Havoc last week thanks to help from an unknown attacker.
The second title match next week will see Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against former champions Breezango.
Burch & Lorcan won the title from Breezango a couple of weeks back thanks to Pat McAfee and formed the new Kings of NXT faction which later added Pete Dunne.
It was also made clear during the show that Io Shirai’s next challenger for the Women’s Title will be Rhea Ripley, but that match wasn’t confirmed for next week.
