Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw (May 29) the first set of participants to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match were revealed.
After the first match of the night saw The Miz face off against Ricochet for an opportunity to join the titular match of the upcoming London premium live event.
In a fun and exciting affair, both men showed off impressive offense but in the end it was Ricochet who would best The Miz to advance.
Ricochet became the first to be entered into the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the event by the same name coming up on July 1, 2023.
In the second qualifying match of the night, Bronson Reed took on Shinsuke Nakamura in a hard hitting match.
With Bronson Reed showing off his agile in-ring performance as well as heavy hitting style, it was in the end not enough to beat Nakamura.
Shinsuke Nakamura beat Bronson Reed via pinfall victory to also qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match at the event of the same name.
WWE’s event Money in the Bank is set for Saturday July 1, 2023 at the O2 Arena in London, England.
As previously announced on WWE SmackDown, another Men’s qualifying match is Montez Ford vs. LA Knight with the women’s side having announced a matchup as well.
Zelina Vega will take on Lacey Evans on Friday Night SmackDown to determine who will advance to the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the premium live event of the same name.
There were also two women’s qualifiers announced for next week’s Raw, which you can read about at this link.
