The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble event is reportedly set to take place in Saudi Arabia following this year’s event in Indianapolis.
The 2025 WWE Royal Rumble event is set to take place on February 1, marking the first time that the Rumble has been held in February instead of January, and it seems as though next year’s event will also mark a first-time for the event.
Per PWInsider, the 2026 Royal Rumble event will emanate from Saudi Arabia, per multiple sources in the company.
This will mark the first time that the event will be held outside of the United States since the Royal Rumble became a pay-per-view back in 1989. The first Royal Rumble event, which was a USA Network special, was held in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1988.
PWInsider was told that the deal to take the event to Saudi Arabia is locked in, and that an official announcement could come as soon as the Raw Netflix premiere on Monday.
WWE signed a 10-year agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia back in 2018, which is set to run through 2028.
WWE has typically run 2 premium live events a year in the Kingdom, with an episode Raw and SmackDown also taking place there in 2024/
