Drew Gulak vs. Gran Metalik
Lucha House Party was at ringside, while Kendrick & Gallagher sat on commentary for the opening bout. Metalik tried to pick the pace up several times but was cut off by the antagonist of acrobatics. Gulak wore Metalik down with submissions, but the ‘King of the Ropes’ was able to get things going after a while. However, his momentum was short-lived as Gulak caught him in the GuLock for the win.
Result: Drew Gulak def. Gran Metalik
There’s a reason the review for this match is so vague, and that’s because nothing really happened. It was an average match from two guys I expected more from. Giving Gulak the win was the right call though, as he’s an incredible heel, and this could lead to him finally getting a championship shot once Murphy/Alexander is out of the way. He’d make a great representative for 205 Live. A fine but disappointing match, though.
