205 Live Review: May 29, 2018 – Cruiserweights Done Right
Brian Kendrick & Jack Gallagher vs. Lucha House Party
I expected Gulak would have something to do with LHP this week, but I didn’t think this would be it. He joined the commentary desk to give his thoughts on the tag team match pitting his lucha rivals against Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick. The heels wore down the pairing of Kalisto and Lince Dorado early with solid technical wrestling, much to the adoration of Gulak. Lucha House Party would make a bit of a comeback, gaining the upper hand until Gulak emerged from commentary to deliver a cheap shot to Dorado. The attack allowed Kendrick to lock in the Captain’s Hook for the win.
Result: Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick def. Lucha House Party
This match was pretty textbook, but Gulak’s commentary improved it a good deal. The tease of him joining Gallagher and Kendrick at the end was intriguing, as they could have excellent 6-man tag team matches against LHP.
