205 Live Star To Return With New Gimmick?

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, 205 Live star Noam Dar is set to make his return to the ring soon. Unlike normal returns from the injured list, however, the ‘Scottish Supernova’ is likely bringing a new gimmick with him to the screen.

A new gimmick would not be the worst thing in the world for the cruiserweight. The idea of a “spoiled millennial” persona also sounds like a good fit for the natural heel. This may not be the biggest hurdle to overcome upon his return, however.

It will be interesting to see how Dar will fit into the newly revitalized version of the purple brand. Since Triple H took over creative control in January, 205 Live has developed and improved a tremendous amount.

The ‘Scottish Supernova’ has yet to test the waters in the division now overflowing with creativity and talent. He will certainly have to make some large waves from the off if he plans on securing a place at the top of the card. Dar has the ability to do so as he has proved throughout his career. It will simply depend on what WWE Creative has in store for him when he does return.

Dar has been on WWE‘s bench since late last year, recovering from a meniscus tear. He underwent successful surgery for the injury in December and has been recuperating ever since. We look forward to his return to the ring and eagerly await whatever he has in store for us.
