205 Live is no longer live, so that asks the question, what else is WWE lying about?
A lot, probably, but if we read too much into everything WWE said, I think we’d all be far more miserable and it’s just not worth the hassle.
Anyway, now that it’s not live, we can post spoiler articles just so all you impatient fans can sit there and act smug while your far more patient and nicer friends can be surprised by the result.
Last night’s taping featured a Cruiserweight Championship match between Cedric Alexander and Drew Gulak. The match itself went pretty long, and by the end of it, the crowd was pretty hot for both men. Cedric won the match, hitting Gulak with a Lumbar Check to ensure he’ll be heading to Super Showdown to defend his title against hometown boy Buddy Murphy.
Elsewhere on the show, TJP defeated Lince Dorado. TJP managed to remove Dorado’s mask during the match, allowing him to pick up the pinfall victory while the luchador desperately hid his face from the crowd and cameras.
According to reports, the crowd was pretty hot for both matches, which suggests that 205 Live is beginning to gather some momentum after being so badly treated for so long.
