3 Huge Matches Announced For Next Week’s Dynamite

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, 3 huge matches were announced for next week’s show.  The first match came after the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal.

MJF and Hangman Page were the two last men standing in the Battle Royal.  Next week, they will battle with the winner getting the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

This has MJF written all over it.  Cody Rhodes had a gimmick in ROH where he wore the actual Ring of Honor.  He made folks kiss the ring.

Surprisingly, the gimmick got over.  Will MJF do something similar in AEW?

The next match announced for next week’s show was Scorpio Sky challenging Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship.  Jericho teased a major announcement.

His original announcement was a little lackluster.  He said he would get a thanks at the Thanksgiving Celebration for the Le Champion.

SCU came out to remind him that Sky pinned him. This led to some back and forth and ultimately a match was made.

The final match did not come as the result of an angle.  It was just a match announcement form commentary.

Kenny Omega will be going against PAC.  Omega cut a promo backstage.

Kenny claims this will be the first stop on the Kenny Omega redemption tour.  He promises to get revenge for losing to PAC earlier in AEW.

These three matches are big matches for AEW.  Cody is also promised to return on next week’s show.  Next week may need to be a big show.  Many are speculating tonight might be the first night AEW loses in ratings to NXT.
