Earlier tonight, we reported Hikaru Shida will be facing Nyla Rose for the AEW Women’s Championship at Double or Nothing. Later, it was announced it was NO DQ or Countout. As the night wore on, AEW announced 3 more matches for Double or Nothing.
First up, a match was made as a result of the women’s match that Shida won to earn her shot. As the match finished, Britt Baker locked in the Lock Jaw on Statlander. She refused to let it go.

As a result, we’ll be getting Kris Statlander vs. Britt Baker in a Grudge Match at Double or Nothing. AEW hasn’t done much storytelling around the women. At least they’re trying.
It was also announced there will be a match to determine the number 1 contender for the tag team titles on the Buy-in. Private Party will be battling The Best Friends. The winner will get a shot at Hangman Page and Kenny Omega at a later date.
While those matches are fine, the big match came later. Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle challenged The Elite to a match at Double or Nothing.

Now onto more significant tasks – Enter the first-ever STADIUM STAMPEDE at Double or Nothing on Saturday, May 23rd. pic.twitter.com/w8GSWmm08o— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) May 14, 2020
The match is called the Stadium Stampede match. No specific details were released, but Vanguard 1 officially accepted on behalf of The Elite. Given that Cody is fighting in the TNT Championship match, it seems this will be 5 on 5 with Hardy as the 5th member of Elite.
This also will mean The Elite’s Young Bucks and Hangman Page should be in attendance for the big Pay-Per-View. That is good news for all wrestling fans.
