It’s fair to say that the build towards the very popular wXw tag Team Festival has been a complete and utter shambles, and that it’s actually just a case of incredible back luck.
Eight of the originally advertised wrestlers have pulled out of the show, and the promotion’s COO has just announced that he is stuck on a plane because a stewardess hit her head and feels unwell.
As Maffew of Botchamania so eloquently put it…
Eddie Kingston has a family emergency so that’s eight announced wrestlers out of WTTF.
wXw is that gig your mate’s put on and he’s realising on the day of the show “maybe attending” on Facebook means “no but in a nice way.” https://t.co/8iXhIYTwjB

The latest person to pull out was Eddie Kingston, who will be unable to compete due to a family emergency. His tag partner David Starr will be choosing a new partner from the roster.
As we are starting the first event in just a few hours, we won’t be able to bring in a replacement for Eddie Kingston. @TheProductDS will choose a new partner from the current wXw roster until Friday afternoon.

As mentioned above, the promotion’s COO is currently stuck on a plane, because once things start going bad for you, they really start going bad.
So… my flight isn’t leaving as one of the stewardesses hit her head and feels unwell. You can’t make this up anymore. #wXwWTTF

Good luck to everyone involved. It’s been a very turbulent week but hopefully the shows will be a success.
