Trailer Released For Upcoming AAA, Marvel And Disney+ Collaborative Special AAA

A trailer has been released for the upcoming “Marvel Lucha Libre” special that is due to air on Disney+ on December 21.

The collaborative special titled ‘Marvel Lucha Libre Edition: El Origen de la Máscara,’ was announced at the AAA TripleMania XXX event in Mexico City.

The trailer, which you can view right here, was screened to the live crowd during the TripleMania XXX event and has now been released on social media.

The special will feature AAA wrestlers portraying popular characters from Marvel Comics including Captain America and Spider-Man.

Konnan recently explained that the idea for the collaboration came about during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The trailer is in Spanish and was released on Marvel’s Latin American YouTube channel, Marvel Latinoamérica Oficial.

It is not known if the special will be released to audiences outside of Latin American countries.

The AAA TripleMania XXX in Mexico City saw El Hijo del Vikingo retain the AAA Mega Championship in a match-up with Rey Fenix.

Fenix’s brother, Pentagon Jr., had more success and defeated  Villano IV in a Mask vs. Mask main event.
