AAA will be holding a show in the historic Madison Square Garden for the first time on September 15. Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the promotion is looking for some help from All Elite Wrestling in shifting tickets.
AAA and AEW have a working-relationship with one another, with the AAA World Tag Team Championships even being defended by the Young Bucks in a match against the Lucha Brothers at AEW’s first official show, Double or Nothing.
AAA is hoping that AEW will lend the promotion some of their big talent for their September show. However, Meltzer is reporting that while AEW is willing to let some of their top performers work Mexican-based events, they are not too happy with allowing their talent to work on non-AEW shows in America.
WrestleTalk will provide more information on the matter if and when it becomes available.
