According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), AEW’s Abadon has filed for a new trademark.
On March 3, Abadon (real name Monica Beadnell) filed an application to trademark ‘ABADON’. Per the USPTO, the trademark is intended for use in ‘entertainment services’.
The following description accompanied the filing:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes
New AEW signee Swerve Strickland (fka Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott) has filed for two new trademarks, which you can check out right here.
Abadon last wrestled during the March 3 AEW Dark tapings. They are currently on a win streak, with their most recent loss taking place in October 2021.
