Absent WWE Star Planned For Big WrestleMania 41 Match WWE

An absent WWE star is reportedly set for a big match in two months time at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, NV.

With both Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair deciding which world champions they will be facing at WrestleMania 41 on this week’s Raw and SmackDown respectively, the card for the Grandest Stage of Them All is beginning to take shape.

While Elimination Chamber on March 1 will likely fill in a few more gaps in the WrestleMania card, a new report from WRKD Wrestling has seemingly revealed yet another big match planned to take place on the weekend of April 19.

Posting to Twitter, WRKD Wrestling wrote the simple caption “Mania” along with a picture of a face-off between SmackDown stars Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.

Orton has been off TV since the November 8, 2024 edition of SmackDown, after suffering a piledriver from Owens.

Since then Owens progressed into a rivalry with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, unsuccessfully challenging The American Nightmare for the title at December’s Saturday Night’s Main Event and the 2025 Royal Rumble.

On last night’s SmackDown Owens challenged to Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber in Toronto after laying out his former best friend with a package piledriver on the February 3 episode of WWE Raw.

While Zayn did give an update on his condition during last night’s SmackDown we have yet to hear a response from his regarding Owens’ challenge.

It’s also not yet known if Orton is planned to return at WWE Elimination Chamber, however, we will provide updates if they become available.
