Action Andretti Opens Up About Shock AEW Win Over Chris Jericho AEW

Action Andretti has opened up about his thoughts on being signed to AEW after a surprise win on yesterday’s (December 16) AEW Dynamite.

Andretti shocked the world by pinning inaugural AEW Champion and WWE legend Chris Jericho on yesterday’s edition of the show.

Shortly afterwards, AEW announced it had signed Andretti to a contract with the company.

The AEW Twitter account uploaded a video of a backstage interview between Renee Paquette following the unexpected victory:

“Words cannot describe how I feel right now. I just went out there, and beat, like you said, the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion, and an eight-time world champion at that.

“I’m pretty new to this game, but that’s pretty damn good for a rookie if you ask me.

“And if I can do that, out there against a guy like Chris Jericho, well then Renee, I think there’s no telling the rest of the things that I can do here in AEW.”
