‘Actual’ Celebration Planned For Rey Mysterio 20-Year Anniversary

WWE is set to make their return to Madison Square Garden for tonight’s (July 25) episode of WWE Raw, where the company is set to honor the 20-year anniversary of Rey Mysterio.

Rey is set to team with his son Dominik on the show in a tag team match against the Judgment Day, as well as a planned 20-year celebration of Rey himself.

With the event not being as advertised as John Cena’s anniversary last month, fans have worried about whether or not Rey would be given an ‘actual’ celebration, especially since he is set for action on the show.

However, per Fightful Select (subscription required), an ‘actual’ celebration for Mysterio is planned for the show, including a cake. There are also reportedly a ‘significant number of props’ required for the planned segment.

WWE is also advertising Logan Paul on ‘Impaulsive TV’, and a six-man tag team match between the Bloodline and the team of the Street Profits and Riddle.
