In case you missed it, Adam Cole and Pat McAfee had a bit of a blow-up last week. While appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Cole became irritated with McAfee’s line of questioning. This led to an expletive-filled shouting match between the two, with Cole leaving the interview.
Never have I been so taken by surprise with an F-bomb!

Now, Cole has apologized for his actions. He took to Twitter to craft an apology, stating he should have kept his composure and acted like a professional. Here is the tweet:
— Adam Cole (@AdamColePro) July 27, 2020
“I’ve had the weekend to think about everything, and it’s still hard to put into words where to begin. First of all, to anyone that I offended, I apologize. I apologized because I represent a brand that commands respect. Not just because of what we do in the ring, but how we handle ourselves outside the ring. Even though he continued to push my buttons, I still should have kept my composure and acted like a professional. I’m embarrassed by my reaction, and I will make sure something like that never happens again. Thanks for the continued support everyone.”
There has been debate about whether this was a work or not. This is not something that happens with WWE stars very often but it seems unlikely that Cole and McAfee would be able to have any kind of meaningful program to continue their potential feud.
