Adam Cole Injured Following AEW Double Or Nothing? AEW

According to a new report, it may be intentional that Adam Cole was the man on the opposing team cut from AEW Dynamite’s big upcoming 10-man match, after Jeff Hardy was removed due to injury concerns.

According to Bryan Alvarez, Adam Cole’s omission was not accidental, noting on Wrestling Observer Live:

“It is now an 8-man so they also pulled Adam Cole. I was told that Adam Cole is also hurt, so both of the guys are hurt. They didn’t just pull Adam Cole because they wanted to go from a 10-man to an 8-man.”

Take this report with a pinch of salt since it has yet to be confirmed elsewhere.

One sign you could point to is that if AEW wanted the entire Undisputed Elite in action, they could have just had someone replace Jeff Hardy and kept it as a 10-man tag, so there could very well be a reason they chose not to do that.

Whether or not Cole is literally hurt as in injured or a more nebulous definition that also could include generally tired from having awesome matches week after week, remains to be seen.

Not too injured it seems to challenge a popular gamer to a challenge however as this afternoon, Cole has posted a video to Twitter challenging gamer The Completionist to a video game showdown in Los Angeles.

LA of course home to this week’s AEW Dynamite as AEW continues their West Coast invasion after finally having returned to Las Vegas for Double or Nothing.

The match in question is now an eight-man tag pitting Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Christian Cage and Matt Hardy up against the Young Bucks and reDRagon.
