Adam Cole doesn’t know if he and Chris Jericho will face each other at AEW Double Or Nothing.
Since making his in-ring return on the March 29 edition of AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole has kickstarted a feud with former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.
The tensions between the two stars has heightened in recent weeks after Jericho and his Jericho Appreciation Society stablemate Daniel Garcia handcuffed Cole to the ring ropes while Cole’s real life girlfriend Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. was caned by Saraya.
In a recent interview with the Sports Guys Talk Wrestling podcast, Cole admitted that he isn’t sure if he will face Chris Jericho at AEW Double Or Nothing. He said:
“Oh my goodness. I’ll tell you now, every single week that I see Chris Jericho, I’ll do everything in my power to make sure I get my hands on him.”
“For anyone who checked out Dynamite the week before [May 3]. I was in an eight-man tag team match and the second the match was over, I made my desires known at that point in time.”
“So Jericho better be ready because I don’t even know if we’ll make it to Double or Nothing.”
Despite not knowing when the presumed bout will take place, Adam Cole is determined to make Jericho pay for his actions. He stated:
“If it happens at Double or Nothing, great. If it happens in Austin, great. If it happens in a couple of days here in Detroit for AEW Dynamite, great, but nonetheless, Jericho dug his own grave, and he’s gonna pay for it.”
The card for this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite is as follows:
No Holds Barred – Julia Hart vs. Anna Jay
Open House Rules match for the AEW Trios Championship – House of Black (c) vs. Bandido & Best Friends
AEW International Championship – Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
Double Jeopardy Match – Claudio Castagnoli vs. Rey Fenix
Steel Cage Match – Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley
