
AEW has a very long injury list at the moment, with one of the most notable names on that list being Adam Cole.
Cole is suffering from a torn labrum (shoulder) and was concussed at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and Dave Meltzer is now reporting we shouldn’t expect to see him back in action any time soon.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave said:
“Adam Cole’s gonna be out for a while. Punk – I don’t know when the timeframe is and I think that they’re trying not to let you know, but I’m pretty sure he’ll be back… surgery for a broken foot, it’s a couple of months, but it’s not like it’s six months. So he probably won’t be that long.”

According to Dr. Google, a torn labrum takes around four to six weeks to recover from, while a concussion is much harder to gauge a recovery time, as concussions vary from person to person.
