Current AEW star and former NXT star Adam Cole has made some very intriguing comments about his former Undisputed Era pal Roderick Strong.
Three quarters of Undisputed ERA – Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly – have made the leap to AEW and are now members of the Undisputed Elite with the Young Bucks, but Strong is stuck in NXT.
Despite releasing millions of people the past couple of years, WWE has denied Strong his requests to be let go, and it looks like he’ll have to wait out the remainder of his contract.
However, when that time does come, Cole is very keen on reuniting with Strong. During a Q&A at Motor City Con, Cole said:
“I would love nothing more than for Roderick Strong to come to AEW. I don’t know what he’s going to do, I don’t know where his head is at, but he knows that he has a home in AEW. Especially with me, Bobby, and Kyle. That would be amazing.”
Unless things change drastically, it seems like Strong’s future certainly lies with AEW when the time comes.
